Terms & Conditions

his Video Guestbook Rental Agreement (the “Contract”) is entered into by and between Katcha Studio (the “Owner”) and the Ajuma Ogiji (the “Client”) for the event described in the Client Details section.

By signing this Contract, both parties agree to the terms and conditions outlined below regarding rental, payment, security deposit, equipment care, cancellation, and liability.

2. Service Description & Package Contents

Katcha Studio will provide The Classic package for the Client’s event. This includes delivery, usage instructions, and return of the video guestbook equipment.

Delivery & Use:

  • Delivery of equipment will occur 3 days prior to the event date.

  • Katcha Studio will provide clear instructions for the Client to set up and operate the equipment.

Package Contents – The Classic Package:

  • 1 x Video Guestbook

  • 1 x Acrylic display stand (for guest instructions)

  • 1 x Return satchel

  • 1 x Setup guide

Delivery of Video Files

Katcha Studio will provide the video files via Google Drive within 24 hours of receiving the returned equipment.

The files must be downloaded within 7 days of receiving the link, after which the files may be deleted.

Return:

The Client must ensure the equipment is returned within 2 days after the event using the provided return satchel. Any delays or failure to use the provided satchel may result in deductions from the security deposit

Payment Terms

i) Booking Deposit: The Client shall pay a 30% non-refundable booking deposit ($96) at the time of signing __ this Contract to secure the Event date.

ii) Security Deposit: The Client shall pay a refundable security deposit of $200 at the time of signing this Contract. The security deposit shall be refunded within 5 business days of return of all equipment in good condition, using the provided return satchel. Any deductions for damage or loss will be itemised and communicated to the Client.

iii) Remaining Balance: The Client shall pay the remaining balance of $224 no later than April 17, 2026, which is 7 days prior to the Event. Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the service, with the booking deposit retained.

4. Security Deposit & Equipment Responsibility

The security deposit protects Katcha Studio against damage, loss, or late return of the equipment.

The Client is responsible for the safety and proper care of all equipment. Any damage, loss, or misuse may incur additional fees and be deducted from the security deposit. Full refund of the security deposit is contingent upon:

i) Equipment being returned in good condition

ii) Equipment being returned on time using the provided return satchel

iii) The Client taking reasonable care of the equipment while in their possession

Refunds will be processed within 5 business days of equipment return, and any deductions will be itemised and communicated to the Client.

5. Cancellation & Changes

i) Booking deposit is non-refundable.

ii) Event date changes or cancellations must be communicated in writing.

iii) Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the service, with the booking deposit retained.

iv) Refund of the security deposit is only processed after equipment is returned, regardless of event cancellation.

6. Liability

Katcha Studio is not responsible for events outside its control, including acts of God, venue restrictions, or technical issues caused by the Client.

The Client assumes responsibility for any damage, theft, or loss occurring while the equipment is in their possession.

7. Governing Law

This contract is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

8. Agreement Acknowledgement

By signing below, the Client acknowledges and agrees to all terms and conditions outlined in this Contract, including payment schedule, security deposit conditions, equipment care, cancellation policies, and liability.
